The bar is getting increasingly low as we return from the bubble era prosperity to realize indeed we've done very little of a productive manner the past 10 years other than enrich a small group of financiers and a few guys who thought of great company in their garages or at Stanford. For the common folk, life is getting mighty expensive out there as things that are glossed over in inflation reports like tuition, healthcare and the like continue at their annualized 6-9% path. Meanwhile as 40% of Americans utilize the emergency room as their "primary care physician" a new trend is emerging on "how to pick up women"... fancy car? fancy clothes? fancy vacations? Nah that is SOOOOO "I paid for all this with my house ATM thanks to Alan Greenspan" mid 2000s.
All you need to do now is be one of the increasingly few able bodied (or otherwise) who has healthcare insurance... playa.
And welcome to the Banana Republic ...
