I have spent some time over the holidays reflecting on what a great year this has been for me and GF. EEJS gathered some of the biggest names on Wall Street to dissect the markets. Hanlon's pub was launched, giving us daily beverage for thought. Most importantly, lifestyle whispering was taken to a new level.
We learned that the Chart Whisperer, Bruce Zaro, was an "E" list celebrity in the 70's, sports a secret mullet [1] and likes to eat dinner at midnight.
Michael Pento became Kudlow's go-to sparring partner, which to me is the greatest story never told! I love you, Pento...but mock turtle necks and acid wash jeans went out when Miami Vice was cancelled! You still top Luskin's gear by a country mile, though.
We learned that Paul "Caterpillar Lip" Baiocchi was old enough to grow a mustache. Who knew that Paul would have started one of the worst fashion trends of 2008. Pitt, Downey and Bloom followed suit [2] and now we have a nation of men who look like policemen from Jersey .
In fact, unbeknownst to the brass at GF, Paul starred in one of the greatest films of all time, "Ferris Buehler's Day Off!" Even though we only got a quick peak at Paul's wardrobe this year, one thing stands out: if he ever loses his job, he will have no problem going to work for Century 21...he already has the jacket [3]! However, the most disturbing thing I uncovered about this young man was his fascination with boy bands. Pauley...you truly have the "right stuff."

At the risk of losing my job, I have to say something about Hanlon. Yes - he is generous, charming, and a market wizard ... but come one ... what 40 year old do you know needs to consult a clothing - connect the dots - book. You may recall, Hanlon posted a video [4] of himself (technically, EEJS slid that one in, but go with me here) explaining how he has to refer to a book to pick out his suit, shirt, tie and shoes? Hanlon and Baiocchi would be fashionistas in Guam.
Most imp
ortantly, I thought we would look back at some of the best lifestyle stories of the year and, of course, they all include ME!
We brought back the mullet and learned mullet classifications! We devoured some of the best sushi on the planet. And, no- I am not talking about the Sizzlean and Clam Chowder Baiocchi was talking about. Hanlon introduced us to Hamamori [5]! My food will never be the same since I was introduced to gold flakes. We traveled to Scotland [6], the epicenter of the greatest golf courses and ate a little Haggis and Black Pudding. Truly, the worst stuff I have ever eaten.
We introduced you to Joey "Wine Cube" Maga... well kind of. We were unable to show you a picture of our resident wine expert because he was disfigured when attempting to drink box wine with a crazy straw. Who knew that there were so many box wines out there? Don't forget to review our list of the best goons out on the market [7]. You won't be disappointed!
With all of that said - my favorite story of the year was "Dynamite Comes in Small Packages. [8]" We got to experience what life is like for little people...or some little people, anyway. Mini KISS vs. Tiny KISS, Mini Brittney and Mini Sonny and Cher! Raise your lighters, people!

2009 will be a banner year for GF and Lifestyle Whispering.
Happy New Year!!!!
RTH
By the way...if you are wondering why they call me RTH, we will hopefully have some video and a story to explain it all in 2009. I've got the other Todd Harrison shakin' in his boots!
