In response to the tax calculator [1] over at the Obama for President website, Red County Magazine has lauched its own online version of the Obama tax calculator [2].

Not too surprising coming from a Republican website (the punchline is a takeoff on the old, "How much do you make? Send it in."), but I have kicked John McCain [3] enough in recent weeks that I have no problem switching back the other way, trying to be an equal-opportunity candidate basher.

The thrust of Red County [4]'s charge is true: Obama is most certainly lying about the limited nature of the tax hikes he's going to drop on all of us next year. All in all, I suspect Red County's tax calcuator is more accurate than Obama's, but check it out and decide for yourself.
