Biography

Patrick graduated from UCSB with a degree in English. After college, he entered the high stakes world of teaching English to newly arrived immigrants.  While teaching the alphabet and how to order food in a restaurant is highly stressful, it does allow him three months vacation and the opportunity to see the world.

He has bartered his English teaching skills for lodging, airfare and beer in locations around the world. A few of the places he has taught are; a women's university in Ukraine, an orphanage in Kenya and a remote village in Thailand.  He has parlayed his surfing skills into jobs in tropical locations as a surf guide (more beer) and has recently been showing his daughter the ropes of third world traveling.

He lives at the beach with his wife and daughter and is currently scheming for his next trip.
