What in Sam Hill Was That?

By Chip Hanlon | October 09, 2008 | 6:32 PM | 3 Comments

Look, CNBC, we love ya-- we're happy to appear when you invite us (our Michael Pento will be on Kudlow's show tonight, actually) and I sincerely believe you guys have done by far the best job in covering the financial turmoil we've seen in recent weeks.

That said, this was one of the worst segments I've ever seen in my life:

Really, I couldn't believe my eyes and thought the channel must have been changed somehow. That's the type of thing I expect to see at home, when I try to press '34' on the remote to get to ESPN but only the '3' registers and I end up on the local public access station instead.

I realize you have to mix it up and I know comedy is a lonely business, but this was just astonishingly bad.  Wow... I'm still amazed just thinking about it.
