You're Right!

As a MOT (Member of the Tribe), you are right in your perceptions regarding Obama and the Jewish vote. It is not a lock and the concern is clearly Israel's security. An even more concerning issue is his willingness to meet with foreign leaders and terrorists; I am not sure what this will do for the USA; yes, relations need to be improved through out the world, but we don't need to be talking to those who are willing to see our way of life perish.

I suspect Obama will learn quickly that some degree of compromise and pandering is needed; otherwise, he is unelectable.

Lastly and in an overall sense, the USA should be the #1 supporter of Israel. Period. Why? Because Israel is the only democracy in the Middle East, and Israel is so far ahead of us in terms of security. The USA can look to Israel as a partner on terror. They live with this everyday.

Another good source for news on Israel and American politics would be the Jerusalem Post. Check it out!
