I see inflation and deflation playing tug-of-war is all and it's quite a confusing environment... I like to think long-term as well (which is why I said 'at the moment') it's just become so murky though... Near-term I think inflation prospects have improved dramatically... I'm just worried long-term that our government will allow the dollar to enter the annals of failed paper currencies... I pray they don't... At least if we get a long bout of deflation, all the excesses will be purged out of the economy and we can start with a clean slate. If we get hyperinflation there will be nothing left.
