Coverage of SEA, Links

By Chip Hanlon | August 28, 2008 | 12:41 PM | 4 Comments

OK, so the ETF based on our index launched on Monday and it is seeing some nice trading given the low-volume nature of this pre-holiday week.  As a follow-up, I just wanted to pass along a few links related to it (so thanks for indulding me!):

Bell Ringing

On Tuesday, we rang the opening bell at the NYSE along with our partners at Claymore. To see an archive of it at the NYSE website, click here. CNBC's coverage of it, which is shorter, can be seen here. I'm the big one in the back who looks like security for the guy ringing the bell (Claymore President, Christian Magoon).

Christian Magoon also discussed the index on CNBC that same morning...that clip can be viewed here at greenfaucet.

Articles/Links

Here are links to a few articles which have done a good job of explaining this ETF since its launch:

Anchors Aweigh! Claymore Launches SEA

Back...in time for a holiday weekend

I've learned I'm not a good road blogger, hence the lack of posts from me the last couple of days while we were out in New York. I'll get back up and running-- and on to topics other than SEA-- beginning later today with my next post (not that anyone will be reading it due to the Labor Day weekend!). Back in the saddle here... and it's going to be a big September here at greenfaucet, EEJS says... keep your eyes peeled.
