I really liked the article here on this website regarding the seasonal aspects of gold. Usually, gold prices rise through the fall anyway. The Russian invasion of its neighbor, Georgia, is adding a war premium to the price of both gold and crude oil, thus perhaps enhancing the seasonal buying. It is also hitting the Euro.
