With the serious problems incurred within the health insurance and medical industry I am actually very surprised that there haven't been some kind of revolution by the american people by now.
Are people actually aware fo that:
47 million Americans (about one in every six citizens) don't have insurance.
Eighteen thousand U.S. citizens die each year because they are uninsured.
The U.S. is the only industrialized country in the world without a universal health insurance system.
According to studies, doctors and hospitals are the third leading cause of death in America.
If your average american would know this I am sure people wouldn't allow these awful statistics to happen.
The amount spent on health insurance increases by almost $1,000,000 per year... something I am very sure that the insurance companies and the government profits greatly from. So much so that I doubt they have any interest in putting a free, descent health care system into place.
