Good article...thanks for sharing.  I tried to address the S. Africa situation in the "what to look for" box in my "Precious" posting prior to this one.  Over the very short term, the trading in the USD appears to be trumping lack of power in S. Africa.  This could change in an instant. 

Longer term, I am particularly bullish on palladium which has lagged.  I expect to rocket higher soon to catch up to platinum.
