Dueling Obama Tax Calculators

In response to the tax calculator over at the Obama for President website, Red County Magazine has lauched its own online version of the Obama tax calculator.

Not too surprising coming from a Republican website (the punchline is a takeoff on the old, "How much do you make? Send it in."), but I have kicked John McCain enough in recent weeks that I have no problem switching back the other way, trying to be an equal-opportunity candidate basher.

The thrust of Red County's charge is true: Obama is most certainly lying about the limited nature of the tax hikes he's going to drop on all of us next year. All in all, I suspect Red County's tax calcuator is more accurate than Obama's, but check it out and decide for yourself.
